Hi there!

I just joined this board today. I am a relatively new browncoat, and I've been hanging out and posting at the official Universal site for a couple of months now. Rumors of the possibly pending shutdown of that site have me looking around to see what's out there if that happens.

I really love the community and the people there....is this one similar? Just reading through a few threads here, it looks like many of the same people are on here. Do the two forums tend to duplicate each other? Or do they fill different niches?

I'll probably mainly lurk here for the time being and keep most of my posting over at the Universal site for the moment, but I wanted to wave hello and say hi to a whole new pack of browncoats:)

I imagine it is, if you guys are anything like the people on the official site:) It's the only online community I've ever been a part of that truly feels like a community; pretty wonderful. I'm hoping I'm not going to be torn between two message boards now:(

Welcome fellow Browncoat! I hope you will be as happy here as I am. It feels like home here... that is about the biggest recommendation I can give you.

I'm fairly new and I've felt very welcome and comfortable here. Don't know much about the duplication, I've not really posted anyplace else, fell in with this bunch and sorta stayed.

Anyway, howdy and nice seein' ya.

Hey jetflare, welcome!

This is indeed a friendly place, and I show up here daily to post, read, chat, and generally feel at home. I visit the U-board on occasion, but I've been coming here since before there was a U-board, and this place is my on-line home.

Hey jetflair,
I hope you enjoy the site. Where are you from? I'm an Australian Brown Coat and that kinad sux. But I'll be joining Canadian Brown Coat from February

Until now I hadn't found a site I stuck too with my postings. But they welcome you here with open arms.
So I hope you have heaps of fun here.

I'm enjoying it a lot so far. I hail from Oregon in the US. What's bad about Australia? Always thought it sounded like a pretty cool country!

"Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you when she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home." .......We love you, captain.

It's not that Australia is bad so much as it isn't that great for those of us that live here.

We only just got Serenity @ the cinema 2 weeks ago, Firefly only came to cable- unless it was on early in the morning.
No-one knew about the Serenity RPG stuff oh and apparently the comics won't be here for about 6 months. So you see my problem.
