Somehow I missed getting issue 1 of Angel, After the Fall. All the stores are out so I'm waiting for the re-issue. Here's the problem. I picked up #2. Should I just go ahead and read it? It's got Spike on the cover and I'm dying to open it. I like Spike. Alot.

ordinarily I would say to wait and read in order...
but actually they are still in early stages of introducing characters and situations,
so while you'll ruin the surprises that were presented in the first issue, you will get to enjoy cool Spike!

GROOSALUGG

I'd second the recommendation of midtowncomics--order all my "Buffy" and "Angel" ones from them, and they've got great service--but I'd disagree with Embers and suggest you wait 'til you've read #1. The story has already moved ahead a couple of months from the end of "Not Fade Away", so the first issue really does a lot of setting up what the new situation is.

And FWIW, tho he's on the cover, Spike only appears for like 3-4 pages in #2, so you're not missing a ton of Spike-y goodness by waiting a few extra days...

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

My situation is exactly the opposite. I got #1 but I was out of town when #2 came in and they have sold out of two different shipments. For some reason IDW was not allowing them to order their usual quantities (they've had plenty of the Buffy comics from Dark Horse) so they have not been holding copies for anyone, no matter how long they've shopped there.

and I hesitate to delete the link completely because I found it was REALLY hard to find the Angel comic at midtown comics, so the specific link made it easier to find....

is there someplace that teaches how to make a mini link?

I learned how to turn links into words over at Whedonesque but I've never known how to do that, or to shorten them, over here....
