I can't imagine how that would actually work as a series, with her being all loopy and evil and all, but there is just something about this character I love.

Seriously being a huge Buffy fan, that is one of the coolest ideas ever. Drusilla is an amazing complex character, and if she were to get her soul back(like Angel) it would be one hell of a dramatic tv show. There could be guest stars like Spike, Faith, and others.

Great idea jwhedonaddict.

America loves a winner!

I love Dru. She's as funny as she is wickedly evil. The first thing I thought of, is of course, Spike. You couldn't have Drusilla w/ out Spike. And then that brings up the whole 'time line ' problem. When would the show take place ? After the final battle from Angel ? Or would it all be backstories, from her time in the old country?

Would love to see more of Dru!

People love a happy ending. So every episode, I will explain once again that I don't like people. And then Mal will shoot someone. Someone we like. And their puppy. - Joss

This would be...fascinating to say the least. Drusilla was always one of my favorite villians, and Juliet Landau played the hell out of the character.

I don't know how Drusilla with a soul would turn out, exactly. I think the primary focus would be on her obvious insanity as well as her visions, and her struggle to live with the two. And even though Dru and Spike play off of each other very well, if it's going to be a spin-off series, then she needs to stand on her own (though with Landau's acting skills, that won't be too hard). Putting Spike into the picture would almost assure that he would dominate the show.

I'm not certain that a Drusilla spin-off would really work. Imean sure she's a great character, mad as a hatter and gorgeous to boot, but i think that everything about her character that can be said has been said. We already know her back story and is there really anything new that can be achieved through a spin-off?
If anyone is deserving of a spin-off (from anywhere in the Buffyverse) then i think its got to be Giles.

Angel: This may come out a little pretentious, but… one of you will betray me. [Spike raises his hand] Wes.
Spike: Oh… can I deny you three times?

I've always maintained that the spin off that would work the best would center around Willow.

Just like Angel took some, (but not all) characters from BTVS, A Willow spinoff would do the same.

The 3 characters to follow into the spinoff would be Willow, Giles, and Andrew.

Willow would of course be the center of everything, just like Angel was in his show. She's a very complicated character, struggling to balance her light and dark sides. It will be important to get rid of Kennedy before starting the spinoff. Kennnedy was one of the factors that ruined Willow's character in season 7 BTVS, and she will add no value to this new show.

Giles fills a multi-role. He's kinda like a Watcher/Father figure. He knows magiks that Willow doesn't from his days as a warlock. But he would defer to Willow.

Then there's Andrew...I drew my inspiration from Andrew by watching Wesley grow from the idiot we met in BTVS season 3 to the dark calculating badass in the final seasons of Angel. Just like Wesley, Andrew shows great potential as a character that can grow and learn. With Joss's writing skill I'd love to see what could be made of him.

There will also be 2 new characters. Both will be British. These are characters added to the show like Gunn, Fred, and Lorne. I've toyed with the idea that one of these characters could be different in a way we've not seen before.(Like Lorne is different in Angel) This character might be fey, or a spirit perhaps. Or something else.

Season 1 of the show centers around Giles and Willow returning to England to rebuild the Watcher's council. Andrew will "Tag Along" and in season 1 will be a 5th wheel, but later he will grow into a very important part of the new group. As season 1 draws near to a close We'll learn of an overarching threat, kinda like Wolfram & Hart in Angel, but this is magical in nature.

Where buffy was a show about slaying and Angel was a show about redemption, this will be a show about Magic.

I've spent a lot of time crafting these things in my mind.

Do not fear me. Ours is a peaceful race, and we must live in harmony.

Well every Joss show (or movie) needs a sarcastic character. In a Willow spinoff, I can't see Spike being long-term, Cordy's dead as a doornail, so that leaves Xander, Willow's best friend.

Plus, I love him, so there!!

no way would a drusilla spin off work, she couldn't sustain the accent for the few episodes she was in, and it deteriorated a lot from buffyS2 (when it was silly but not too bad). she'd end up with a south african accent if she had to keep it up for whole episodes week after week

xander would have to be in a willow spin off, maybe they could have equal billing, that would be nice...

How about a comic or TV special that just explained what happened to her after Season 2 of Angel...because she vanished from the face of the earth after that

I really thought she would show up in S5 of Angel ...since they brought Spike back...but she was only in flashback episodes...CORNY!

I really wanted to see some sort of final conflict with Angel and his old gang
