According to a brief article from The Hollywood Reporter, SyFy has given 'Caprica' another season despite lackluster ratings. Additionally, there are also plans for another spin off that will bring the Battlestar Galactica franchise back into space.

The article also makes mention of SyFy's 'Three Inches' pilot, which sounds a whole lot to me like it wants to ride on Kick Ass' coattail.

Maybe it will make up for these fine ideas from the crack team that heads SyFy...
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/35902222/ns/entertainment-television/
Quotes from the article:
"Like, for example, "Marcel's Quantum Kitchen." That's right, Syfy is doing a cooking reality show with Marcel Vigneron of Bravo's "Top Chef."
We are not kidding.
If the show gets greenlit to series, Marcel and his band of made-for-TV caterers will spend an hour creating the menu for events, which could "range from a fairytale graduation party and a Goth-rock fashion show to a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new subway line," Syfy says."
and then there is this one:
"Syfy has also given a series go-ahead to "Mary Knows Best," in which psychic Mary Occhino — who has a daily show on Sirius — will show off her mommy psychic schtick. It will premiere in July as part of a new Thursday reality block."
So remind me again...what's wrong with bring back our beloved Firefly to this joke of a network if only to give it back its nerd cachet?
