Hrrmm... Me thinks Inara is the one with her back turned down at the bottom. Looks like the one missing is Book.

It's a great pic, either way. A classic Thanksgiving scene if I've ever seen one. Norman Rockwell-esque IMO.

Yep...Book's missing, probably cuz of his GSW and recovery. And it's kinda hard to tell whether Inara's the one at the end of the table or Zoe. Both women have curly black hair...when Inara doesn't flatten hers;)

Zoe's got her back to us, Inara's lower right corner, then Simon, then Kaylee, Mal, Wash, River, Jayne.
Pattern recognition at work.
Book's probably just out of frame getting more tomatoes or moving towards an open chair at this point.

looked at the DVD. In2 picked absolutely the best frame from that scene. can't tell any better on the DVD.

this is a style I stole from my wedding photog - recolor the background black and white and leave the important part of the picture (Zoe, in this case) in color...it'd look a lot better with a more colorful scene I think
