I got to get Joss' brain warmed up before starting the questions, so . . . The Alliance can go anywhere and do anything it wants in the 'Verse. The only limit being the Alliance leaders are too fat, lazy or drugged to do much. Three cheers for laziness and legalized marijuana in the 'Verse! But coming down to Earth, the USA, China, and Russia respect each others land and airspace, more or less, but the much larger Alliance seems to have no boundaries that it respects.

Here are the questions: Joss, will you invent for the series some political boundaries the Alliance cannot cross because the laws (of physics) allow the people on the other side to have H-bombs? Will the stories about the Alliance always be like the United States, with planets representing states and no Canada, no Mexico, no Russia? Did you intend to make Confederacy vs Union War the complete template for Independents vs Alliance War with no allowance for the Confederacy having nukes on ICBMs plus warhorses, swords & steamboats?

After I start asking Joss all these questions at the airport, I can imagine him saying, "I think I won't fly today. I'll take the train."

My number one question is, "When will we get more episodes?"

1. Is River the most gifted patient/specimen from the Alliance? If not, would the Alliance send their most gifted after the crew if the show was allowed to continue?

2. What is Shepard Books past? The comic was sort of a let down and didn't explain anything really.

3. What happens to Jubal Early?

4. Where did The Operative go after Serenity?

5. Will the crew find a new pilot or will River be taking the job?
