It has been a long time since I’ve felt like writing.

I slapped together “To Err is Human” just to get something up. Rushed through the opening of “The Fear of Being Alone” simply to post ANYTHING, and as a result was extremely unhappy with both.

My work hours began to be cut in March and by June I was laid off…and have been unemployed since then despite near constant job hunting. In fact I haven’t even gotten a single call back….much less an interview.

I lost a number of people whom I had thought of as good friends and the simple fact is that I lost interest in a lot of things.

Drawing, sewing, knitting, crocheting, embroidery, cooking, reading…and Writing.

I have taken down “To Err is Human” and “The Fear of Being Alone” and I am working on fixing them, making them something I don’t feel ashamed of. And I am not certain that I will ever put “To Err” back up again….it is proving to be a very difficult re-write.

Anyway, Hi! I’ve missed you all!

Thank you Bytemite! I appreciate the response and the suggestions...I will take your advice....besides chronologically "Fear" is first! lol!

Sorry to hear you've had a rough time of it. It's good to try to get back into your hobbies though, even if things are uncertain, all job hunting and no play is a good way to end up depressed.

If you believe To Err is Human is going to be a difficult rewrite, might I suggest trying "The Fear of Being Along" first? Choosing the easier story to edit will gve you a sense of accomplishment when you finish it, and keep your momentum rolling for "To Err is Human."

Ideally, you might even consider putting on paper a couple of one shots to that same end.
