failing at life...
Thursday, May 24, 2007

mmmkay...so i just found out that i got a 69% on the first half of my french final. therefore i am a complete failute at life...and i will end up living in a box. i just am. i am so pissed off too. this sucks. i really thought that i was going to do well on this...aparently not though. so now i have 3 f's, a c, and A's on my transcript.

yeah...i'm never going to get into college.

do you want fries with that?

i'm just practicing for when i have to work at McGreasy's.

i know that i'm being over dramatic. i'm just not having a great week. i failed my trig test, and i failed my french final. i'm going to fail my bio final.

another thing...i'm failing creative writing...HOW DO YOU EVEN DO THAT??? i don't even know. the teacher must hate me or somthing. because i am pretty damn creative if you've ever heard me talk about buffy or heroes or criminal minds...then you know that.

if i fail creative writing when i want to be a writer....then i am amazingly ungifted. i'm like negative talented...i don't even know if that's possible.

this is like the worst week ever. i'm so happy tomorrow is friday. i get to go see pirates of the caribbean, like i've wanted to for the last 6 months! and i plan on only eating fries and Dr. pepper.

and okay...i just finished the 6th sense and now i'm all depressed.

BLUEEYEDBRIGADIER

Remember this axiom, vampchick88, and all will be well:

"Those who do, can; those who can't, teach."

I personally would not be worried. An "F" is an undesirable mark, yeah...but you have a number of "A"'s to go along with it. Like msg said, you talk with your counsellor about how things at home have made for problems and do well on the SAT, and you're golden. I know from personal experience how a bad year or two can make your transcript look mighty ugly...

CYBERSNARK

Also, don't sweat school in general. There are enough success stories drifting around of artistic geniuses who failed every academic course they ever took.

Writing especially; take not of how many times Stephen King used to get rejected by actual publishers (as opposed to mere schoolteachers).

Hey my final gpa in high school was a 2.9 and I got into quite a few colleges. I got a great score on my SAT ( which pretty much erases the bad grades from any college's consciousness) so don't freak out just yet ok:) Have your counselor ( yes I know, but you need this)write a statement of difficulty ( or whatever your school calls it) about your mom and the difficult year you've had and get a good score on the SAT and "poof" a bad year of grades will disappear... Try asking the creative writing teacher for samples of work she considers "good" that'll give you an idea what to shoot for.
