Here's the thing. She gets to see them all daily. She has a great job she obviously enjoys, she gets to wear lovely clothes and live in a lovely shuttle, plus she gets to be involved in all kinds of thrilling heroics..

Inara, hm? From what I read you're more lucky than her. You actually have a husband, which means that - unlike Mal - he actually had the guts to ever speak up to you. Not that I don't understand our captain here. ;) Still. In a way you're better off than her.
