and the days get longer...
Friday, February 16, 2007

Sigh, I woke up this morning with a migraine :( ouch to the extreme. And because the past few days have been riddled with me feeling bad, sick, and depressed (on my snow day too, gorramit) and I've stayed home from school the past couple of days, my mom's making me go to the doctor...I hate the doctors... :( I doubt they're going to find anything they can fix. In fact, they'll probably tell me I just need to go home and rest...which I could have been doing for an hour more if I didn't go there. *shrugs*

But instead of ranting about how I dislike the doctors, I would like to thank everyone who replied to my previous blog...you all mean more to me than you know, because just seeing and feeling the warmth that surrounds me in the form of amazing and wonderful people helps. When I felt myself slipping deeper and feeling alone, I'd come look at the comments I got, and they'd show me I wasn't. Thank you. Although I'm still feeling sick, I'm not as depressed as I was - that seems to be on the up curve again and I'm hoping it will continue, especially since I'm going to Ohio tomorrow night through Monday to look at a college.

So thank you cozen, LittleAlbatross29, SAVEWASH, Cybersnark , JQ, Joss, msg, gomithrous, rose, pain, BEB, neko, and exotick. You mean a lot to me, my friends, and please never hesitate to call on me if you ever need a shoulder to lean on or friend to talk to. *hugs everyone tight and goes to rest in bed again*

SAVEWASH

Well, you're probably in Ohio now (I hope the med's working!), but I'm sending you good vibes anyway. They'll still be here when you get back. Best wishes!

the doctor wasn't horrible, except that I spent 15 minutes waiting in the waiting room (guess that's where it got its name) and then 15 minutes waiting for the doctor in the exam room...and for the fact that the bright lights there in both the waiting area and the exam room made my headache (which had gone down to a dull pain) worse mighty quick, since I was still light sensitive, sigh. But he did give me prescription medicine that should do away with any migraines before they get bad, so at least I have that insurance for when I'm in Ohio.

Do as the good lady says and be completely open and honest with your doc. Who knows...could have a "House M.D." kind of malady that could explain the depression and the pains;D

Really? We're here for ya and lots of happy vibes are being sent to you as of this moment to help you get back into the swing of things;)
