I got the news today. If nothing changes anytime soon, I'll be leaving either next month or in April. To where? I'm not even sure. When they tell me, I'll be sure to tell you all as much as I can. Some things are more than likely going to be confidential. Thank you all for being so supportive. It means everything.

My advice? Hang tight, follow orders the best you can, and take it one day at a time. Worrying about what will happen days or weeks in the future means you will miss the present. And that could have unpleasant consequences:(

Still...go forth and serve with pride, Steve;D

Hang in there, man! I'm in Iraq right now. It'll be alright!

Be safe, duck, and eat right (The food's good here...and everywhere else, I've heard), and it'll be over before you know it.

Good luck.

Steve, hang tuff my friend. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt, and the scars. Keep your Head And Hindquarters down. Do your job. Listen to your Sargeant, but don't be afraid to think for yourself. Tain't run with the AF much, but they- You've got good training. It'll kick in. Believe in yourself. Ain't going into the Politics of the sitchieation, not my call. TRUST ME!! It is all right to be afraid. I always was. If you ain't afraid, then you ain't some one I'd run with. We're only Human, chum. Listen to your ol' Sarge, (SSg, MoArNG, Ret. 17+years, GM3, [E-4], USS Saratoge, WestPac, '72-'73). Ya' can't kick the eliephant in the hindquartes, lessen you see him up close. Can't tell ya' to relax, it is gorram impossible. Best thing I can advise is to go Zen, and flow with it.

Vaya Con Dios, son.

we're with you.
