i hate my bio teacher

I don’t think I have ever been as bored as I am right now…I honestly wish I could jus walk out of the room, go home, and watch some criminal minds. Do you know what they are talking about in biology today…cancer. Yeah, the one thing I really don’t wish to hear about is the main topic of discussion today. My teacher knows about my mom, why didn’t he ask me to leave the room. Honestly, I was on the brink of tears when he started talking about it.

I mean, maybe he thinks I need to be informed…I do not agree. She was diagnosed less the 2 weeks ago. It’s kind of a sore subject at the moment. I’m beginning to hate my bio teacher, so very much.

Okay. So I put in a ton of mother-daughter TV watching last night. It was fun, we watched project runway and yelled at the people we didn’t like on the show.

I was kind of pissed because I really wanted a bowl of French onion soup and we didn’t have any more…yeah, I’m really mature…

Whatever, I just would like to be informed when a teacher wants to bring up cancer in class. At this point it’s just polite.

And I’m getting sick too, which is just mean on the karma scale. I woke up this morning and it felt like every joint in my body was on fire, it STILL feels like that. I think it was because I got really into the badminton unit in gym. Yeah, well, I was really into it so now I’m injured and I feel really embarrassed…. Please don’t ask. It’s one of the only sports that I actually like, and I thought it would be impossible to get hurt playing.

Totally agree with msg...you have ever right or freedom to inform the necessary individuals that you ain't anywhere comfortable with the subject matter being discussed and could you be excused from class. I know I would have been all "I can't be hearing this! I just can't!" had my bio teacher discussed cancer in class after my mom got diagnosed:(

Still...you got in some mom-daughter time! That's great! I don't get to spend as much time with my mom as I want...but that could be because I am supposedly too old to be hanging with my ma;)

Sweety speak up. That dratted counselor should be useful. Have her tell everyone that you should be excused during discussions of this sort. If you're uncomfortable though, just raise your hand and say I need to be excused. If he presses you further say I'm not comfortable hearing this and leave!! HUGS honey and I'm sorry you have an icky day
