okay. so the day was great, i have to admit it. and i found out that there's a sort of band function tonight... someone has a band and they're playing at a bowling alley...i know, classy huh? anyway, i'm going just so that i can hang out with that certain browncoat. and i'm praying that he doesn't bring hsi evil girlfriend... is that a bad thing? i knew him before they started going out, i liked him before they started going out. and now i really want them to break up. anyway, she's not too into the band so i hope she doesn't want to come along. because she hates me, or pretend to anyway...

whatever, a chance to hang out with him a quiz eachother about firefly is like a one and a million situation. i have to go, even if i suck at bowling. i have to look cute, i just have too.

alexa wants me to call him for a ride even though i already have one. she's still trying to push us together. it's wierd cosidering that they used to date. i'm not going to dwell on it.

i just really don't want to call him because i don't do well on the phone, i just don't. infact, i would be better at smoke signals then i am at talking on the phone. my voice sounds too much like a boy, it's not at all attractive. plus, whenever i talk to him in real life i sound as stupid as ever, the phone may make it worse.

and if i called while he was over at her house...major drama.

so i think i'll just snag a ride with other people and then just sneak my way onto his lane...because i'm that sneaky.

so i'm listening to the soundtrack to mamma mia, because nothing makes me happier then abba, plus briitsh people are singing it...british people always make me happy. it's a little known fact that abba has a song for every situation, but they do. it's true. do you know how many times i've listened to dancing queen after a dance that went badly...like a million.

you may think i'm a loser, just like all my friends, but you know i'm right.

and abba is the best music to listen to when on a road trip, because everyone knows the words to some of their songs. it doesn't have swearing either, another plus if your parents are a little uptight about that kind of thing...

however, under no circumstaces tell your teenage friends that you pull most of your inspiration from the song waterloo. they won't get it. they WILL mock you for the rest of your high-school days, and they will do it infront of a classroom full of people.

whatever, they think rap is good music...eww.

i should have been born in the 70's so i could be a teenager in the 80's.

did anyone else hear that molly ringwald is touring with the production of "sweet charity"? oh my god, i have to go see it. i don't care if anyone thinks she's a tallentless loser or whatever, she's my idol. my mecca is molly ringwald in sweet charity. my life will be complete when i see her on stage.

also, don't tell people that you want to go to detention just to see if it will turn out like the breakfast club. because then they will try to get you into trouble to prove you wrong. and it won't be like the breakfast club, for one thing, the library isn't as nice as it is in the movie, and for another no one is allowed to talk to eachother.

it's a total bust.

there is one thing i can't figure out though. in pretty in pink, why doesn't molly end up with duckie instead of that jerk blane? i mean, are you kidding me? for one thing, blane is ugly, and he wears sports jackets with the sleeves rolled up! duckie is actually funny, and he has those cute little sunglasses! plus, duckie actually liked molly in the movie. blane was a total loser to her, and then they just get back together at prom. poor duckie, i mean, i've been there way too many times, likeing your bestfriend when they are going out with another person who isn't you. it sucks. i'm suprised he didn't move or try to kill himself or somthing like that.

i bet you that blane dumped her after prom too! i bet he did! because he's a jerk, and molly was the 'girl from the wrong side of the tracks'. it's total bull. she should have realized what she had when she found out that duckie liked her.

oh, and what was with the dress she made? she shoul have just worn the dress her friend gave her! that one was cute! the one she made was ugly and looked like a pink pillow case. it did, and you know it too!

i did like her other best friend though, she was really cool. too bad she had like 4 lines in the entire movie!

is it bad that i kind of wished that people would forget my birthday so that i could meet my own jake ryan.

see, unlike blane, jake actualy liked molly. he didn't break her heart and then just show up. he was there for her when everyone forget about her birthday!

and jake wouldn't randomly break up with her either, because he's decent. and tres adorible. sorry, the french is peaking out. anyway, back to jake. he's so cool.

i don't know, i wish my life was like one of her movies, because the people always end up happy in the end. everything would be a ton easier then actually going through the motions of life.

wow, way to sound like the buffy musical episode.

oh god, here i go again. spike and buffy should have never happened! she completely broke his heart!!!! he loved her ahd she was too full of herself to let herself love him back. plus, she treats all of her boyfriends like crap.

look at angel. half the time they were dating she was worried that he was in love with faith or whatever, and the other half, well, he was evil. she kept talking about how she didn't want to be nomal, have a normal boyfriend. but then, randomly, she changes her mind and decided that she does want someone normal.

enter riley. only, he's not exactly 'super' enough for her. he can't even commit to him. she sends all these signals that she doesn't want him there and then when he leaves, she's suprised. this is one of the major reasons i hate buffy.

so then riley leaves, and all that is left is spike, who is madly in love with her. and he uses him because she's all pissed off that her friends saved her life (?!?!?!?!?!?!). then she goes on about how she want's a 'nice guy'. duh! she had one! she had riley! but she ruined it! it's not that hard to figure out!

on another note, why is bufy pissed about being brought back to life. so what if she was in heaven. whouldn't you give anything to see your friends and talk with your sister again? i know i would if i were dead. her friends needed her that badly. quit complaining and either get over it or throw yourself off another tower. it's just so rude if you think about it. willow was the only person to ever bring someone back from the dead!

i would be proud of my friend if she brought me back from the dead. i would be like "sweet! i'm alive. thanks guys!". where as buffy goes all emo and acts like a bitch. it just makes no sense to me.

she has a duty to do. she had people who needed her. buck up and deal. watch a lifetime movie, eat some ice cream and then slay somthing!

Finally someone agrees with me that Buffy was bad for Spike and she must have had permanent brain damage to refuse to love him!!! And I am so glad to hear that at least someone out there under the age of 29 knows who Molly Ringwald is and likes those movies. I do not think you are a loser I think you are a teenager:) HUGS and I love you sweety

Wow....there's so much here that could be talked about. But I will just stick with the first and the last parts (as John Hughes films really ain't my bag ;D)

Much as it might seen embarassing, Abba is quite the group and I gotta agree with your sentiment about them having a song for bascially any occasion:)

And last time I checked, Buffy's issues with guys? Just one heavily-expanded exploration of being in relationship where there's always something wrong with the dude cuz the gal thinks there's a white knight who's perfect just waiting for her. Definitely wonder at how Joss is gonna handle Buffy's relationship priorities in the Season 8 comic?
