i've branched out...
Thursday, November 16, 2006

i've branched out from just ABBA, and am now listening to the spice girls. yeah, i'm pathetic. but how can anyone not like their amazingly touching lyrics and platform shoes. and here i'm being sarcastic. it's almost like a 2nd language to me so i have to clairify.

the reason for the spice girls is the middle school play. i'm working on it for my grad. project, and so far i think i will be passing out ritilin before every practice. i don't remember being that hyper when i was in 7th grade, and i was no where as annoying as some of them.

oh my god, there is this one girl with the biggest case of diva i have ever seen in my entire life. i am this close to telling her off and casting her as a bit part even though she's an 8th grader.

i was a diva when i was that young, but not nearly that annoying. i know for sure because my friends are still around, and if i acted like her... they wouldn't be.

i have another 4 hours of callbacks again. fun!!! so much FUN! once again this is me being saacastic! i have no desire to sit through the same monologue 30 times and then hear it again in a british accent. it's just not somthing i like to do alot.

british accents are great, but not when you are hearing them badly done by a 6th grader with braces.

i never had braces. that i am happy for, i have no tolerence for pain at all. at band camp i was taking 3 tylonal with every meal and it still didn't help. now i know that it's more then the recomended dosage but if you had been there you would understand why i was taking so many pills.

there was no rain, just blistering sun and no breaks at all. i almost passed out on the 3rd day they had to take me off the feild because i couldn't stop shaking, and i was all clammy. it turns out that i was dehydrated. and it was also the worst experience of my life because we were on a water break when it happened so everyone was asking how i was and why i was crying.

to make matters worse, the guy i like, david was first aid certified and had to make sure i was okay. he was in the pit, playing the bells so he didn't have to be on the feild. so anyway, yeah, i call it my white horse moment, i was laying down on a blanket under the band mom tent and i looked up, and there he was, asking me how i was and getting me water.

it was so embarressing. so embarressing. i will never get over it. i told my mom and she acted like we were getting married because he made sure i wasn't dead.

i kinda wish i had been passed out so that i wouldn't of have to sit through it.

Not wishing I was in your shoes one bit, vampirechick88...but that's ok;)

ANd yeah...it's funny, but when one can't help but cringe at the actions of teens these days. I look at junior high and high school students these days and wonder the f--k happened to them? Never recalled the kind of behaviour and issues going on now when I was their age;D

This ABBA and Spice Girls thing can be effectively countered with large, loud doses of Motorhead. Maybe some Ramones, too. :-) Just teasing.
