It seems like I'm the only one that's way obsessed with Firefly/Serenity, sometimes. I know I'm not, but it feels like it sometimes. Especially livin here in SC. There's not a lot of Browncoats here. In fact, aside from my wife and I; I only know of two maybe three other people who even know what Firefly, or Serenity, is. I've got a bag and two firefly shirts with two more shirts and a bumper sticker on the way, but they're mostly lost on the population here. Course then again, the people who know what Firefly is are the closest of my friends, so it's not completely lost. While we(my wife and I) were borrowing her mom's copy of Firefly, I was watching an episode or three every day. Now that we had to give it back, I watch Serenity every day. I need to get my own copy of the series, but can't afford it at this time. But yet, I've got a traditional Japanese sleeve on my left arm in the works. But, then again, I've only got 7 more hours to go b4 it's done. Oh well, thanx for lettin me ramble about nothing in particular. Hope everyone's day is shiny.

Sometimes it's you who has to take the first step of the long journey with others, rather than wait for travellers with similar destinations in mind come along, Alchemist.

Personally, I would keep an eye and ear out for any local comic book, sci-fi or fantasy cons, club meetings or discussion groups in your area. Cuz you never know who you might meet;)

hmm well Tristan and some others are relatively close to you , so that might help. See what you need is a captive audience ( like my students) I force them to watch clips until the express interest and then loan them the dvds
