Well... don't know what to say...

Wife died almost a year ago to the day. I don't blame her.

I live on Gamma 88 (The Great 88s!) where the battle of bil was fought. In fact, the ground is still warm to the touch in places, despite all them wonderful Alliance foams they sprayed on the ground. They say it's safe to live on, but nothing will grow for another 150 years. I still drop seeds in the ground but it's a pointless routine. A waste of money really, spending money on seeds that will do me no good. I still go out prospecting on my 600 acres hoping they missed a spot while shooting at all them browncoats. Haven't found one yet.

Mickey tells me I should start surveying the hill out to the west. Maybe find some mineral that I could mine. It's a good idea but the boys used to play in them caves when they were kids. I don't know if I could spend much time in them without sobbing.

I was thinking of hoofing it into town and finding a job. Don't know doing what though.
