SeaQuest DSV's Jonathan Brandis dead at 27.

It seems my log entries have been about death as of late. Not exactly a good start. Though, Death must be enjoying himself in Sci-Fi Hollywood. Read today that Jonathan Brandis just passed away at 27. Remember him? He played boy genius Lucas Wolenczek on SeaQuest DSV.

I thought I was the only one that was just shocked by that... I watched SeaQuest obsessively when I was a 'tween but since I didn't watch the news I didn't know about his death until 2008. I have this theory that you can really screw up a good kid by just letting them have too much interaction with the rest of humanity. Some days I'm still overwhelmed by the crazy. Such a waste, though, he was so handsome and was really on his way to becoming a world-class actor...
