I traipsed through ankle deep snow for this...

.. But, it was worth it...

Yesterday, I decided to venture out into the thick snow. (As the BBC's Tim Westwood says: 'It's a big look out there.')

Originally, I wanted to leave any new photography until after the Christmas holiday. It's baltic out there, and I had preferred to stay inside and keep warm.

However, this 'period' of mammoth winter weather needed to be documented. I haven't seen this much snow in a long, long, time, and it deserved to be photographed. My hometown looks quintessentially festive, in a Victorian kind of way...

Anywho.. Here's the latest batch of photos. (Including the weird, but natural ice/snow formation of a dog, found on a branch!)

I might add some more shots at a later date, if people are interested.

Enjoy!

AT THE GATES.

WHITE AS SNOW.

FROSTING.

THE SNOW PUP. (How weird is this?!)

FROZEN. (The off focus appearance was deliberate, to convey the sheer cold of winter.)

SUNDOWN IN WINTER.

I wish all Browncoats a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
