Okay, my mom actually did all the heavy lifting. I'm like Wash, I watched. At least now I know exactly what to do if it happens again. And she gave me McAfee instead of AVG, and the former is a much more comprehensive one. So yay, I'm virus/spyware free and am able to do stuff with my computer again!

I've used all three major anti-virus programs,

1. Norton
2. McAfee
and WAY WAY down the list is:
AVG, it's not good for Virus detection, or deletion.
