"Smith" Cancelled After 3 Episodes
Monday, October 9, 2006

Zap2it.com ( a terrific, nearly always correct tv website ) is reporting that "Smith" with Ray Liotta has been yanked after 3 episodes.

I think we were discussing "Smith" on the Jericho thread.

Can't say I'm too surprised. When I'm hooked on a show, I can't wait to see the next one. I tivoed the last episode and its still in the tivo queue list, waiting to be watched.

They also said "Jericho" is holding its own, and "Heroes" is doing very well.

I have to admit, Smith is one of a bunch of new shows that looked really interesting to me, but just failed to really connect. I generally try to give them a few eps, but when I find myself wandering out of the room doing other things while they are on... the verdict is pretty clear.

It's gotten so I'm afraid to like a show or watch it if I like it, because that practically guarantees it's cancellation.

I had already decided to stop watching Smith before this happened. I did watch all three episodes, but just didn't care about the characters.

Totally don't care about it. I wasn't that intrigued with "Smith" to begin with, so it doesn't alter my tv schedule.

However, if they suddenly decide to cancel either "STUDIO 60", "HEROES" or "JHERICO", then I will be pissed. Havn't seen either "30 ROCK" or "TWENTY GOOD YEARS", so don't know whether or not I want them to survive.

But if they suddenly cancel "THE OFFICE" for no good reason, then I will be going jihad on NBC.
