Well more specifically I should have said "Arc Types." Like the orbital arc of planetary systems. I was going for a play on words but "arch" is like a portal. That's the problem with puns. They easily go tacky.

It's an obscure play on words. Doesn't hold water upon close scrutiny. I was thinking about how the characters in each series kinda revolve around one another and work in arcs with various plotlines. How they're similar to the orbits of planets in our solar system. Some characters revolve around a principal player very closely and others further away.

Arches are actually supports for doorways that are half circles. Not orbits precisely. So perhaps it would have been better had I called this piece "ARC uh types" but I was going for the funny and wasn't intending this to survive close scrutiny.

Uhm ... sorry to be a pain, but do you mean archetypes?
